BRONCHOSCOPY

The bronchoscopy procedure is the evaluation of the main airways in the lungs by means of a flexible device with a camera placed at the tip. It is possible to make some diagnostic additional examinations with this procedure, which offers the chance to directly monitor the airways. These are Bronchial lavage / bronchoalveolar lavage, Transbronchial forceps lung biopsy, Transbronchial lymph node aspiration.
